KUALA LUMPUR, June 23 (Bernama) -- Signify Malaysia, formerly known as Philips Lighting, has launched 90 products under the ECOLINK range, the latest brand of lighting solutions which come with VoltSafe Technology to withstand sudden voltage surges.
Chief executive officer Sukanto Aich said the ECOLINK range features a wide range of selection - from LED bulbs and downlights to high-bays and waterproof battens that cater to all kinds of indoor and outdoor applications.
“The ECOLINK range provides homes with long-lasting, safe and affordable energy-saving solutions for the value-conscious Malaysian customers.
“It offers a comprehensive variety of quality, energy-efficient lighting products that are certified by SIRIM and equivalent accreditation,” he said at the launch of ECOLINK for the Malaysian market today.
He said all ECOLINK products come with VoltSafe Technology to ensure surge protection of 2.5 kilovolt with a wide voltage protection of between 160V and 360V.
They are also designed to reduce eye strain with no visible flicker and negligible ultraviolet and infrared radiation with two years warranty.
“Being a 100 per cent carbon neutral company, we want to multiply our positive impact on the environment and society. ECOLINK products are equipped to provide energy conservation at both home and businesses," he said.
The ECOLINK range of products are cost-effective and save up to 90 per cent electricity.
Aich said that to make the new range of products accessible to more customers in Malaysia, Signify has partnered with KVC Industrial Supplies Sdn Bhd as its Malaysian distributor for ECOLINK.
KVC's nationwide omnichannel distribution network, which includes both online and offline would enable ECOLINK to be made available to customers across the country, he added.
Meanwhile, KVC country managing director Eddie Wong said the ECOLINK range would be available in more than 1,000 stores nationwide as well as online stores via kvc.com.my and marketplace like Shopee and Lazada.
“As of now, we are available at more than 1,000 stores but we want to make sure we can cover as much as we can, whether its lighting shops, electrical shops or hardware shops. Moving forward, we will continue to expand our network even in remote areas.
“We are always assessing our distribution network nationwide and opened to make more products available for retailers, consumers and commercial spaces," he said.
