Serba Dinamik clinches contracts worth RM548.2 mln

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 18 -- Integrated engineering services provider, Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd kicked off 2021 by securing 11 contracts in operations and maintenance (O&M), engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) as well as information, communications and technology (ICT) space.

Its wholly-owned subsidiary, SDIT International Ltd (SDITIL) clinched the ICT job, while 75 per cent-owned subsidiary, PT  Serba Dinamik  Indonesia (PT SDI) secured eight O&M contracts.

The nine contracts are worth a total RM548.2 million.

Meanwhile, the remaining O&M was won by wholly-owned subsidiary,  Serba Dinamik  Sdn Bhd (SDSB).

SDSB also won the EPCC contract.

Serba Dinamik  in a statement said the value of the latter two contracts are not specified due to their being on a “call-out” basis whereby work orders are awarded at the discretion of the clients based on their activities’ schedules and rates throughout the duration of the respective contracts.

Group managing director/group chief executive officer Datuk Dr Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah said five O&M projects were awarded by PT Pilar Bahtera Energi, the leading uninterrupted power supplier in Indonesia, which enabled  Serba Dinamik  to participate into the republic’s power industry.

For the ICT project, the company will implement Smart Solutions for development of ‘Smart and Safe City’ in India.

“Despite a very challenging working and business environment, we are very pleased to start the year with projects worth a total of RM548.2 million. This definitely will strengthen our orderbook and give the initial momentum to the group,” Mohd Abdul Karim noted.

Hence, he is confident that the company will continue to deliver promising financial results for 2021.

“It is also testimony to our experience and expertise that we continue to secure and deliver projects in both the domestic and overseas markets,” he added.
