Reservoir link bags an umbrella contract from Petronas Carigali

KUALA LUMPUR, 16 July -- Reservoir Link Energy Bhd, an upstream oil & gas well-related services provider, has secured an umbrella contract to provide three perforate, wash and cement jobs for Sepat-9 and Sepat-10 wells from  PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd.

The job was secured through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Reservoir Link Sdn Bhd. 

The said work order, which the amount was not disclosed, is for the provision of Annulus Wash and Cementing Assurance, for the Sepat Derisk and Early Production System (DEPS) project, it said in a statement here, today.

“The work order will expire on  Dec 31, 2020, and the value will be based on the work order prices upon delivery of satisfactory performance based on the scope of works. Nonetheless, this work order is expected to contribute towards Reservoir Link’s earnings for the current financial year.”

Reservoir Link’s executive director Thien Chiet Chai said the current oil price uptrend augurs well for the company as it continues to tender for more (well-related services) projects which require Reservoir Link’s expertise.
