Icon Offshore bags RM12.7 mln Carigali Hess ct contract

KUALA LUMPUR, May 2 (Bernama) -- Icon Offshore Bhd’s (ICON) wholly-owned unit, Icon Offshore Group Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM12.7 million contract for the provision of one anchor handling tug supply from Carigali Hess Operating Company Sdn Bhd.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, ICON said the contract is for one year, with an extension option of three months.

“The charter period for the first service order is for 180 days commencing May 15, 2019, the tentative commencement date or on other date to be mutually agreed between the parties,” it said. 

The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings, order book and net assets of ICON for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2019 and beyond.
